Teaching inspiration:
I encourage my students
to accept themselves wherever they are in their yoga practice, practicing
non-violence as well as practicing compassion for themselves and others.
I focus on using the breath as a pulse, carrying the body deeper into
postures and flowing through practice, which is the essence of yoga. Yoga
means “to yoke or unite," connecting the process of yoking
or fusing individual consciousness and awareness with super-conscious
awareness—the natural mind state of soul and a higher
power. In the asana practice emphasis is placed on alignment, life
affirming tantric philosophy and a celebration to discover your heart promoting a
healthy mind and body.
